Your Educational Advisors are:

Cathy Anderson (Chilliwack Campus)
Cathy loves partnering with students on their educational journeys. She has worked in the education department at SFU, as an early childhood educator in Austin, Texas and as an educational advisor at the University of the Fraser Valley for 6 years. Living outside of Canada for over 16 years in England, Denmark and the United States has given her a fine appreciation for all things Canadian, and for the many opportunities available to students at UFV.
Cathy holds a diploma in General Studies from UFV, a BA in French/English from SFU, and received her Life Coach training from the Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, California. She has advice for confused students seeking a fulfilling life and career.
“Get curious about yourself and the world around you, and become an active participant in your own journey!”

Peggy Bray (Abbotsford Campus)
Peggy comes from the online learning environment at Thompson Rivers University Open Learning (TRU-OL). As well, she brings experience in employment skills development and teaching elementary school, specifically primary grades and learning assistance. She loves to share her experiences with students and assist them to make their dream of post-secondary education become a positive reality for them. A keener for fitness and healthy living, Peggy also enjoys gardening, visiting art galleries and attending choral music and theatre productions.
