A night after defeating the number six ranked CIS team, UFV fell behind early and never recovered as they were defeated by Victoria by 24v points.  The Vikes came out ready to battle UFV after losing two of three on their home court.  They quickly established a double digit lead and led from the start to finish.  The Cascades battled all night trying to narrow the lead but trailed by 18 points at the break.  In the second half, UFV held Victoria to 47 points but could only score 41 points to fall by 24 on the night.

"We were outplayed from start to finish this evening.  We struggled to find any kind of mental focus for more than the briefest moments.  It was definitly a dissapointing perfromance after playing with such cohesion in the win the night before. Victoria played very well this evening, and  was very deserving of the result," said UFV head coach Barnaby Craddock.

The Cascades were led by Kyle Grewal, Surrey, BC with 21 points and 8 rebounds.  Joel Friesen, Abbotsford, BC added 13 points.  UFV pulled down 27 rebounds for the game.
