UFV Cascades Hogewoning PACWest Volleyball Athlete of the Week, week ending November 6^th

Krista Hogewoning, a first year left side from Delta, BC was selected PACWest Volleyball Athlete of the Week. Krista becomes the second straight Cascade to earn the honour, Kayla Bruce was selected last week. Krista led the Cascades to a victory over the CCAA’s number one ranked VIU Mariners, 3-2, on Friday and gave the Mariners a scare before losing their first match of the PACWest season, 3-1, on Saturday.

On the Friday night she led the team in total offense: 16 kills, 1 block and 3 aces. On Saturday, she continued her hot play recording 32 offensive points, 5 of which were aces.
