U of Louisville defeat UFV Cascades, 118-57, in preseason play


The University of Louisville Cardinals (Big East-NCAA) defeated the UFV Cascades (Canada West-CIS)118-57, on Sunday, August 14th, at the Envision Athletic Centre.  The game was tied after the first quarter 22 each, but the two middle quarters did UFV in, as their Big East opponent outscored them 68-17 to go onto the 61 point victory.

Nicole Wierks, Chilliwack, BC led all Cascades with 19 point performance.  Tessa Klassen, Winnipeg, Manitoba added 10 points, 5 assists and 1 steal.  Five different Cascades each recorded two rebounds each in the loss to Louisville.  The game box score is attached.  The Cascades finish their NCAA preseason exhibition games with a 0-2 record.
