AVAILABLE TO: Full time students currently enrolled in a course relevant to Indo-Canadian Studies.

STIPULATIONS:
- enrolled in nine credits or more
- high academic standing
- recipients must be continuing students enrolled in a course relevant to Indo-Canadian Studies
- recipients must be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant
- consideration will be given based on financial need.
APPLICATION MUST CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING:
-A letter stating how the course is relevant to Indo-Canadian Studies.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: The Awards Adjudication Committee will select recipients
Harnam Singh Hari Memorial Annual Scholarship. Value $1500.
AVAILABLE TO: An undergraduate student in any faculty at the University of the Fraser Valley who is continuing his/her studies at UFV.
APPLY TO: UFV Financial Aid and Awards (UFV Scholarship application)
DEADLINE: May 10.
STIPULATIONS:
- Recipient will be a full-time student at UFV (minimum of three credit courses per semester)
- Financial need will be a consideration.
- Academic merit will be a consideration. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 .
- Demonstrate involvement in extra-curricular activities including a contribution to the Indo-Canadian community and/or promotion of the Indo- Canadian culture.
- Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated a commitment to family.
- Recipients must be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant.
- A student may receive this award only once.
APPLICATION MUST CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING:
- At least one letter of support from a person qualified to comment on the suitability of the applicant to be considered for this award, based on the stipulations above.
- Financial information is required in the UFV Scholarship application package.
- A statement from the applicant outlining his/her educational and career goals.
