CHAI TIME
This month's chai time discussion will be lead by UFV's writer in residence Anosh Irani about 'Spirituality in Modern Age'. Come and join us for a cup of tea and engage in this interesting topic where we will talk about how young people can use spirituality as part of their day to day lives and not view it as separate from the material world or is it something that should be pursued only as one reaches a certain age. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Abbotsford Heat collaborates with CICS for a Hockey Game in celebration of Vaisakhi

New exhibit entitled 'Punjab-the people, the land, the legacy' at the Sikh Heritage Temple, Abbotsford.
This exhibit will highlight paintings of the Indo-Canadian pioneers by acclaimed local artist Manjit Sandhu and will also include Punjabi artifacts and photographs.

Book reading by author Kathy Marsden
1:30 pm to 2:30 pm  National Historic Site Gur-Sikh Temple Abbotsford

Kathy Marsden will be reading from her new book "Paldi:Two Cultures One Heart". This book has been inspired by the village Paldi, situated near Lake Cowichan, BC- a place where Kathy grew up in. This is only village in Canada that has been named after a village in India.  PALDI is a work of historical fiction, in that information and events regarding Paldi, Canada, and the Mayo family are factual.
Tea and snacks will be served and everyone is welcome to attend.
