Food Matters
As a community, it is imperative that we begin to educate ourselves and especially our children about the importance of healthy eating and a balanced healthy lifestyle. This
Community Forum will present the film Food Matters, followed by a discussion of the film and a question-and-answer session led by holistic nutritionist Jessica Smith Food Matters provides a hard-hitting fast-paced look at our current state of health. Despite the billions of dollars of
funding and research into new so-called cures we continue to suffer from a raft of chronic ills and everyday maladies. Approaching an over-toxic and over-indulgent population with
a continuing onslaught of toxic therapies and nutrient-sparse foods is definitely not helping the situation. Food Matters seeks to uncover the business of disease and at the same time explore the safe, cheap, and effective use of nutrition and supplementation for preventing and often curing the underlying causative aspects of our ills.

which foster eating disorders and attempt to prevent these problems. This community forum will address this important concern. A panel of professionals and people dealing with these problems themselves will be speaking and fielding questions.
