Banking — Sales and Service
Prerequisite: Must have good written and verbal English skills
This course, designed for those with no previous bank training, covers the basic skills needed for a bank teller position. Topics include financial industry overview, banking terms, products and services, operating cash and balancing, and customer relations. A mark of 75% must be achieved to receive a letter of completion.

Cashier Training
Prerequisite: Must have good written and verbal English skills
This hands-on course will allow students to train on up-to-date, user-friendly alphanumeric electronic cash registers. Students will also have the opportunity to work with a hand-held single-line laser scanner as well as a point-of-sale (POS) terminal. Other topics will include GST and customer service. This course will benefit anyone wanting to work in a retail store, restaurant, grocery and hardware store, hotel, etc.

Fundamentals of Insurance
This basic qualification and licensing course developed by the Insurance Brokers’ Association of Canada touches on all areas of insurance including Autoplan theory. It is approved by the

General Insurance Salesperson/ Adjuster Level I License — New
This course is recommended for newcomers to the industry who have not yet made a definite career commitment. It is also for those employed in insurer, agency, broker, or adjuster
offices in clerical or other positions who want an overview of the insurance industry with some detail about actual coverages and attendant claims routines. It’s also appropriate for those who have been away from the educational process for some time and are looking for an entry-level program to start their insurance education. ReDesign Your Home for Living or Selling
Staging is fast becoming the secret weapon for homeowners preparing their home for sale, whether it’s a slow or booming market. Home Staging
This intensive hands-on training program is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to assist you in the start-up phase of your own redesign and home-staging business. The course includes three full days of actual redesign and/or staging work, on site in real client homes, with the opportunity to apply what you learn. Topics include practical skills to apply to your business start-up, sales and marketing, networking and self promotion, the
step-by-step redesign process (includes consultation and follow up), and home-staging principles. Upon successful completion you will automatically become a member of the
Canadian ReDesigners Association and will receive your certification as a certified redesign and staging specialist.

Interior Design Advanced
