Students asking us to goBeyond
Students for Sustainability has students passionate about a variety of issues. From climate change to transportation, all this student group wants, is to see people care about the environment and their communities, and show this through taking action.
SFS has worked very closely with goBeyond, a non-profit society that supports student-led climate change initiatives. As of 2009, UFV has been really lucky to have a goBeyond campus coordinator helping us put together various initiatives such as the climate change teach in and the goBeyond challenge.
These initiatives help raise awareness of climate change issues and encourage individuals to make small changes in their daily lives to help reduce their carbon footprint.
So if you see these SFS students tabling in the hallway, stop by and challenge yourself to goBeyond!
