UFV History Book 2009

In 2008, the University College of the Fraser Valley (formerly Fraser Valley College), became the University of the Fraser Valley. It was a pivotal moment in the history of the institution, one that gave many people pause to reflect on all of the efforts required over the years to get there. In the summer of 2009, the institution that is now UFV will turn 35 years old.

To mark these two milestones, the Marketing & Communications team is putting together a book that will capture our factual history to date; showcase selections from the enormous archived photo gallery that we have been protecting against fire, flood, and vermin; and highlight personal stories and anecdotes from people who have worked here over the years. If you are or have been a part of the UFV family at any point along the continuum and wish to contribute stories, memories, images, memorabilia, or embarrassing tales of your colleagues (within the bounds of reason and good taste), please take a moment to share them with us.

The audience for the finished product is current and former employees.

Submit your stories, anecdotes, or memories now by completing this form.

Have a question or wish to refer us to someone who might have great stories but who may not get this email? Please let us know at myufv@ufv.ca

Thank you!
