Journalist from Kashmir visits
Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies at UCFV

The Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies at the University College of the Fraser Valley welcomes Mr. Luv Puri, a journalist from the Kashmir region of India.  Mr. Puri specializes in South Asian politics with a special focus on India-Pakistan relations, security issues, Pakistan politics, Kashmir, and minority affairs in India.  He will be sharing his experiences as a journalist from the area with interested faculty, students, and community members.

Mr. Puri will be speaking at the Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies at UCFV (Abbotsford campus, F building, room 125) on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 1 - 2:30 pm.  For more information, please email the Centre director Satwinder Bains at satwinder.bains@ucfv.ca or call 604-854-4547.
