Other residence fee information points to take note of:
  • Residence fees are for an eight month contract. (Full Academic Year: September - April), unless otherwise indicated.
  • There are no refunds after move-in. Acceptance of keys indicates commitment to a one semester stay in residence. All withdrawals require 30 days notice. Notice of vacating for winter must be received prior to Nov. 30 or second instalment of fees will be forfeited.
  • The Room Offer Acceptance Fee (ROAF) reserves your room in residence until provided date (see Important Dates). This fee is applied against your eight month (Holiday Break excluded) contract of residence fees. $500.00 + $2810.00 + $1310.00 = $4620.00 in total rent. Please note this does not include the damage deposit, meal plan, programming, or application fees.
  • Meal plans are not required for living in residence. Please see Campus Card for more information if you wish to purchase one with your residence application.
  • Students who are on a student loan may apply for the Deferred Student Loan Payment Option
  • Limited underground parking is available for an extra cost of $200.00 per semester. Please contact residence@ufv.ca if you wish to reserve your spot.
  • During the holiday break (Dec 21 - Jan 6), UFV is officially closed. If a resident wishes to stay in residence during this time, the resident is requested to fill out a Holiday Break Application. If granted, the attached fee is $200.00.

Other residence fee information points to take note of:

  • All rates include utilities (heat, hot water, hydro), phone with free local calling & evening / weekend long distance to Vancouver, hardwired internet connection, and basic television connection in each private bedroom. Each unit has 2 bedrooms which houses 2 students.
  • Each semester's residence fees must be paid in full before move-in.
  • If you are an international student and wish to pay for your residence fees via wire transfer, please contact residence@ufv.ca as soon as possible to make arrangements for this.
  • There is no refund of Summer Semester fees if the student decides to vacate early at any point during the semester. Vacating from residence requires 30 days notice.
