A project to introduce Computer Assisted Scheduling
| Project leader: |
Bill Cooke |
| Purpose: |
To search for computer software that may be used to assist in the scheduling of class activities. |
| Rationale: |
1) Concern about lack of classroom space arising from conflicting schedules while some times are still available, especially on Abbotsford campus.
2) Concern that course scheduling results in students not being able to get the classes they need because of conflicts, also resulting in classes not being filled. |
| Process: |
1) Define principles and constraints that govern the creation of the schedule
2) Create a requirements document
3) Search for vendors UPDATE: An RFP has been issued on BC Bid® . > Select "Browse for Bid Opportunities or Bid Results" (right-hand side) > Select "Browse opportunities by organization" > Select "University College of Fraser Valley" |
