Are you a current UFV student wishing to take a course through another institution?

If you want to take a course at another post-secondary institution and apply that course to your program at UFV, you are strongly advised to complete a Request for Letter of Permission form (pdf).  

Residency requirements

In order to earn a BA degree or Liberal Arts diploma students must complete a minimum of 50% of course credits at UFV.The BA also specifies that a minimum of 30 upper-level credits be completed at UFV. For an Associate of Arts Degree at UFV, the minimum is 25%. 

Please contact the Arts Advice Centre for further information. Transfer credits and credits earned through prior learning assessment, including course challenge, do not meet this requirement.
