The Fourth R is an evidence based curriculum developed at the University of Western Ontario that targets adolescent risk taking behaviour. The program is comprised of three units: relationship safety; sexual health; and substance use/abuse. Childhood and Adolescent Obesity 2010

This conference will focus on the family to examine important intergenerational and family-based determinants of childhood obesity. Complex traumatic stress disorders develop in the aftermath of chronic cumulative trauma, particularly severe child abuse and neglect. They are also associated with relational insecurity and disorganization in primary attachment relationships. Participants will obtain an increased understanding of the nature, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions and disorders, drawing upon recent clinical consensus and empirical findings.
