John C. Pankratz, Chair
John Pankratz is a Partner at Friesen Pankratz & Associates LLP, a certified general accounting and business advisory practice in Abbotsford. He entered public practice in 1986 and enrolled in the Certified General Accountants (CGA) Association of British Columbia professional studies program. He received his CGA designation in 1988.
Randy Bartsch, First Vice-Chair
Randy Bartsch is the Chief Executive Officer of Ecotex Healthcare Service Group. Ecotex provides contract laundry and linen services including uniforms and reusable surgical textiles to acute care hospitals, care facilities and medical clinics. He has been involved with the family business since 1978 and was pivotal in altering the company's focus toward the healthcare sector in the early 80s.
Elyssa L. Lockhart, Second Vice-Chair
Elyssa Lockhart practices as Associate Counsel with McQuarrie Hunter LLP, working primarily in wealth preservation and corporate law. Ms. Lockhart is also a Director of the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Economic Development Committee for the District of Mission and recently acted as Director of Protocol for the 2014 BC Winter Games Society.
Chief Constable Len Goerke joined the West Vancouver Police Department August 5, 2014 after a twenty-seven year career with the Abbotsford Police Department where he retired as Deputy Chief Constable. Len is the past President of the BC Association of Chiefs of Police. He has served as a sessional faculty member at the University of the Fraser Valley in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Ann Marie Liejen
Ann Marie Leijen is the Chief Executive Officer of ValleyCare, a family owned and operated company that provides housing options and care services to older people in the Fraser Valley. She has twenty years of leadership experience and is a strong advocate for quality and innovation in senior care. Ann Marie is a faculty member with the BC Patient Safety Quality Council, and works as a coach for the Sauder School of Business Physician Leadership Program. Ann Marie's education includes an executive Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from the UBC Sauder School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Fraser Valley.
Justin P. Goodrich
Justin P. Goodrich is the Managing Partner of Alliance Public & Government Relations. Justin began his career in 2008 as a sole-practitioner before merging with a colleague in 2012. On June 1st, 2016, Justin founded Alliance Public & Government Relations with offices in Vancouver and Fort Langley, British Columbia.
Shawn Good is President and Chief Executive Officer for Prospera Credit Union. He has served on the Board for Concentra Financial “a national wholesale financial services company.” A leader dedicated to innovation, Shawn has an extensive background spanning over 20 years in the financial services industry. Committed to continuous learning and development, Shawn has an MBA from Queen’s University, and has received his ICD.D, having completed the Directors Education Program with the Institute of Corporate Directors, at Rotman School of Business. He previously attended the Banff Leadership Centre and Queens Executive Program.
Dr. Rhonda Snow, Faculty
Dr. Zoe Dennison received her Ph.D, in psychology at the University of Western Ontario in 1993. She taught at Mount Allison University before coming to UFV (then UCFV) in 1993. Currently Zoe teaches courses in brain and behaviour, gender, language, assessment and the psychology of music.
Sukhi Brar is a third year undergraduate student studying Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. In her undergraduate career, Sukhi is involved in student leadership and governance. Her governance experience includes past appointments as a student representative on the Student Leadership Board of the Coast Capital Savings Student Leadership Institute and the UFV Senate Committee for Student Appeals. Sukhi is President of the UFV Student Union Society, and a student representative on the Board of Governors and the UFV Senate Committee for Academic Planning and Priorities.
Robert Pedersen is a third-year Criminology student at UFV and is involved in a variety of clubs on campus. Rob volunteers with the Chilliwack Community Policing Program where he provides education to the community on crime prevention strategies. During the summer, Rob spends his time fighting wildfires in the Cariboo Chilcotin. You may also find Rob exploring the lower mainland, or participating in community sports.
