At first, since I was a Science student, I was really apprehensive to join this program. But, after a lot of research I found out that this course would do nothing but help to make my future better, and more like a future I dreamed of. That dream is not so distant anymore.
This program has already proven that it provides tremendous exposure to the real 'industry-world'. Once we do get our jobs after the completion of this program, they won't be new experiences for us, because this is what we are actually being taught...the real business world.
The professors we have are amazing. They help us to think out of the box... helping us to develop our minds to handle the true science of when we work. Also, because it is recognized everywhere, this program has given me a huge reservoir of opportunities to work with.
This program is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Not only do I love what I'm doing, I can see the path on which my life is headed. Besides work and studies, I have made many close friends who now seem like an extended family, in such a short period of time. Also, the informality with the professors, who are less like our teachers and more like our friends, is something I really cherish. The amount of exposure that we are getting from this program is unbelievable. I know for a fact that I wouldn't have been comfortable presenting in front of a group of people if it were not for this program. It has made me realize that every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better.

Actually the whole concept from the change from our traditional way of Indian teaching to a more interactive way of teaching impressed me the most. I wanted a break from the old traditional concept as it didn't interest me much. Also the business visits included in the program give a more practical outlook, which according to me is a good way of getting exposed to the real business world.
As of now I don't have any goals as such, but through this program I'm going to enhance my business management skills and gain proper knowledge about them. The courses delivered to us are very useful in today's business world and by learning through these courses I can improve and learn more and find myself doing good in future.
The best part about this program is that we get to do group work, which increases the quality of our output. The teachers teaching us are very learned and professional in their conduct. We get projects to use our skills, which we have learned during the respective course. Lastly, we have air conditioned classrooms and the usage of projectors for teaching.

I chose this program because I found it to provide a better opportunity for my career. I was already doing B.Sc. in another college, but when I got to know about this program, I attended a few classes and decided it was a better option. Moreover, comparing to Indian education, this program provides a lot more value. The first year of the course itself exposed us to the real commercial world through our projects. I believe this degree will definitely pay us back through better jobs.
I think compared to other BBA students we are way ahead, because practicality is not integrated in other degree studies here. The projects deal with real business situations. This program has increased both our confidence and our aptitude. I believe the UFV degree will be very helpful in achieving my future entrepreneurial goals.
I most enjoy the group activities, which teach us to work with others, regardless of personality differences. I like the team projects, and applying concepts in our projects rather than just memorizing them for exams. I also appreciate the student-professor interaction, which is without any formality so we can talk to them freely. Moreover, they are always available through any source when we require their help.

I joined the UFV Bachelor of Business Administration degree because it is more practical than an Indian BBA program. Before joining, I was in an Indian BBA, which required only cramming before exams to get good grades. I learned from two UFV students that they have better classroom interaction, give presentations, and are assigned projects and various group activities. It made me realize that I had been wasting three precious years of my life, as there was no such activity in the program I was pursuing.
I joined UFV to enter the corporate world as young, confident, and skilled individual. More opportunities are offered at UFV to enhance my potential. In a nutshell, this program is a miniature corporate world, which helps individuals to face real life challenges. The major attractions are the practicality and the teaching methods. It is well designed well, encourages you to work hard, and inculcates team spirit. I can compare the two programs and I definitely prefer UFV.
I am more confident, and better able to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Solving the cases in classes helps me to grasp the concepts that I will need to perform efficiently when I start my own business. I have also become skilled in time management.

I chose this program because it will provide me with a better career. I was a science student, and thought I could not go for this program, but after going through the website I found that anyone can do this degree. UFV is based on more practical work rather than theory, and it is far better than the Indian BBA, which requires only cramming before exams to get good results.
After getting into this degree, I found lot of changes in myself. I have become more confident, and my communication skills have improved a lot. Now, I am able to give presentations in front of others without hesitating or getting nervous. I have also learned how to manage my time. I like that the professors are very good and experienced, and they did not make me feel as though I was new to this course. After finishing my school studies, I wanted to enter into a business scenario. When I joined UFV I thought my dream was fulfilled. Our class seems to be a business executive’s office, and our university a corporate organization, where we are the executives always busy making various decisions.
This university provides all the practical experience one can imagine. The exposure one gets to the outside world is an experience for us for our entire lives. Since coming to the university, my interpersonal skills have improved tremendously. I have learned how to speak in front of a large audience. I have also learned how to manage my time. Last, but not the least, I have realized the most important thing: the importance of punctuality.
The practical knowledge which I am getting is what I enjoy the most. I am referring to the projects we complete on real organizations throughout the semester, and to the presentations we make in front of audiences.
This program provides us with all the practical knowledge. It gives us a chance to make presentations, and also to present them in a professional manner. It is like we are working in a business organization. It helps us to increase our interpersonal skills, which are most important for an individual. It also gives us heavy exposure, which will help us in the future. Thus, I believe it will help me to achieve my goals.

Acquiring a Canadian BBA degree, while being miles away from Canada, was the thought that made me enrol into the program. My parents were adamant to send me abroad to pursue studies, but the thought of UFV providing Canada’s business courses in India itself for just a fraction of what it would have cost in Canada made my parents’ desire to send me abroad irrelevant.
This was one of my best moves for my career. Since joining the university, I am able to practically apply my learned business concepts into real business situations. I am able to organize and manage seminars and events independently and in teams. I give oral presentations to the class to gain practical application in business cases.
I never thought of being so professionally engaged in so many university activities. I feel I am becoming more professional than others who are pursuing the Indian BBA. I am no longer concerned for my career; I know the university will provide me with enough options to be able to choose and not be reliant on chance!

Before I started this degree, the thought of speaking in an assembly or meeting would give me goose bumps. Now, I can talk to any number of people at any time. I have seen a drastic change in my attitude and persona. I use to be afraid of interviews — they use to be scarier than injections; now, I am ready for an interview any time. I did not imagine myself working or making projects for any company until I turned 20. Nevertheless, UFV changed me from head to toe.
I dream of becoming a successful businessperson, and this university has given wings to my dreams. I always wanted to enrol into a program in which I could learn practical knowledge apart from theoretical knowledge. I had chosen SD College for BBA stream, and one day I was crossing the college and saw the banner of UFV. My father and I attended one seminar by Ms. Crystal Sawyer, and I realized that this was the university I was looking for. After enrolling into the program my world turned upside down. I believe in learning practically and experiencing everything we read in textbooks before we step into the professional world, and I am sure I have made a right decision.
If someone I cared for were trying to choose a degree, I would recommend the UFV BBA degree to him or her. I would begin by telling them the scene of Indian colleges and their textbooks, then I would tell them how we are taught in class, how our professors make sure that we have understood each word they have taught us and how our textbooks seem to speak to us. I would tell them that professors not only give us educational support, they give us emotional and personal support also. I would also mention how we all stay together all the time. I would tell them, “We study at UFV, we work at UFV, and we stay at UFV. UFV is not just a university, it’s a job that you are doing, and it’s a big family that you are a part of.”

My experience with this university has been awesome. It gave me a platform to built up my confidence level and break that barrier of hesitation which I had in my school days. I am a girl who loves doing practical work no matter how much hard work it demands. As soon as I came to know about my interest being served by UFV, I took no minutes to go and fulfill my desire. A student would love to study if he/she is not made to cram or is given some knowledge of the real world. I enrolled myself into this course after completing my Class XII from Vivek High School. My decision was against my parents; however, my enthusiasm and interest to pursue this course was enough to convince them. I had learned that the program was practically oriented, with a focus on understanding rather than memorization.
