Students from any stream are eligible to apply. There is no entrance examination to attain a seat in UFV’s BBA degree program in Chandigarh. Students of any age are also eligible to apply for the program, provided they meet minimum application requirements. In fact, students with diverse educational and employment backgrounds can add great value in the classroom. Mature students are encouraged to discuss their prior education and experience with UFV staff.
Graduates of the Panjab University and Manipal University BBA or BCOM programs are also eligible to upgrade their Indian degree to an internationally recognized UFV Canadian BBA degree, either in India or in Canada. Students in this situation should book an appointment with UFV staff to discuss their options and academic plan.
Admission to the UFV BBA degree program is open year-round, and seats are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to students who meet minimum application requirements (see requirements for details). UFV will close admission as soon as the program fills.
Therefore, don’t wait until your final Class 12 exam results arrive before applying. Students can apply for the program up to three years in advance and be placed in high priority. Your place will be held in order of applications received, and admission will be finalized once Class 12 exam results are issued. For example, if you are presently in Class 11, you can reserve your seat for a start date two years in advance. Submit the completed application form and fee, and have the confidence that — provided you meet minimum academic requirements once your final Class 12 results are declared and you pay program fees on time — you already have a seat in the program.
Students who do not meet requirements are assessed on a case-by-case basis, and may be interviewed, further assessed, and placed on a waitlist. Some students may be accepted with conditions to meet certain requirements within allotted time frames.
