

Mathematics and Statistics Mathematics extended minor This section specifies the mathematics extended minor discipline requirements only. Students cannot combine Mathematics with Mathematics (Statistics option) to form a Bachelor of Arts with two extended minors. Information on additional Bachelor of Arts requirements begins in this section. Lowerlevel requirements: 27–28 credits
Note 1: Students who have successfully completed MATH 125 prior to January 2005 may use MATH 125 in place of MATH 225. Note 2: Students who have successfully completed MATH 214 prior to January 2006 may use MATH 214 in place of MATH 265. Note 3: Students who have successfully completed COMP 150 prior to September 2006 may use COMP 150 in place of COMP 152. Upperlevel requirements: 15 credits 15 credits from math courses numbered 308 or above. Students may use PHYS 381 as part of the
15 upperlevel credits; however, PHYS 381 cannot be used to satisfy requirements of a math program as well as requirements of a physics program. Mathematics minor This section specifies the mathematics minor discipline requirements only. Information on additional Bachelor of Arts requirements begins in this section. Lowerlevel requirements: 17–18 credits
Note: Students who have successfully completed another universitylevel math course prior to January 2007 (excluding MATH 100, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 117, and 205) may use this course in place of MATH 265. Upperlevel requirements: 15 credits 15 credits from math courses numbered 308 or above. Students may use PHYS 381 as part of the
