UFV's Faculty of Trades & Technology offers training programs that respond to industry needs. All UFV trades programs are based on provincial standards, and follow a core curriculum common to all
B.C. institutions offering the program. Students can begin work in their chosen field after finishing a 10-month entry-level trades training program at UFV. Most programs also have apprenticeship options after completion of the entry-level certificate. Some of these apprenticeship options are offered at UFV.
