What Is CISSA?
The Computer Information Systems Student Association is responsible for
providing several services towards helping students achieve their
academic goals. The main task the association provides is providing
peer-to-peer help for students with their classes. We have
representatives in the Student Computing Center available to help you
better understand the concepts taught to you in class.
CISSA also aims to provide social support and camaraderie for
students to enable them to reach their greatest heights scholastically.
We feel this is a very important part of not only being successful in
school but also being successful in all aspects of life. This sense of
"team" can be developed by specific social events that we will
organize, but generally comes from subtle incidents that occur through
out the school semester.
Where is the SCC?
The Student Computing Centre is located at D224 in the Abbotsford campus.
