New CCNA concentrations - CCNA Security, CCNA Wireless and CCNA Voice
In keeping with recent industry trends among IT certification vendors, Cisco has announced three new associate-level concentrations. These new concentrations are an extension to the popular and respected CCNA certification. "There is a growing need for networking skills throughout multiple functions of IT organizations" - according to a recent study conducted by Forrester Consulting.   Closing the IT Network Skills Gap  (250 K) To help meet this demand, Cisco has introduced the following CCNA concentrations;
- CCNA Security
- CCNA Wireless
- CCNA Voice
"These role-based, technology-specific concentrations provide a learning path for networking professionals to advance their careers." The areas of Security, Wireless and Voice are among the "hottest" areas of growth in IT. The accompanying certification exams are now available, and over the next few months course curriculums and support materials will be developed to support these certifications.
