After completion of the CCNS program . . . Employment It is expected that the majority of students that complete the CCNS program will choose to seek (or continue with) employment. For those who at some point decide to continue studies there are a variety of possibilities. CIS Diploma / BCIS DegreeAfter completing CCNS (or while working on CCNS), you will have the option of applying to our Diploma and/or Degree programs. The BCIS Degree has optional concentrations of which you may want to consider the Security concentration and/or the Systems and Networking concentration. All of the courses in CCNS carry full credit within our CIS Diploma and BCIS Degree programs. Further specialized course workThere are several other courses that will be available to you within CIS. Areas such as Linux, Web Server Administration, WAN security, convergence and optimization, managing QOS (Quality of Service) voice Networks and Security management are a few. CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert)Depending on demand, we may be able to offer resources (including lab access) within a self-guided studies model for those who want to pursue the CCIE designation. Consult your instructor for details.
