Getting to Know Early Learning
Published in 2008, the Framework is still a relative newcomer to our field. If you are unfamiliar with it, or need a refresher, this is the workshop for you. This document was designed to guide the development and evaluation of a quality ECE program. As an ECE  leader, knowledge of the Framework will help you re-evaluate your program to provide a higher quality service for your families and offer relevant, current professional development for your staff.

Using Puppets in your Programming
Incorporating a puppet into your circle time activities is a wonderful technique to promote a high level of group interaction and inclusion, gain or refocus a child’s attention, and to put an anxious child at ease. In this course you will learn the benefits of using a puppet and discuss strategies for incorporating the puppet into your programming. To help you build confidence in using puppets, you will build your own sock puppet, develop the puppet’s personality, and practice using the puppet.
