Dr. Darren M. Dahlman, DMD
Dr. Dahlman earned his doctorate of dental medicine from the University of British Columbia in 1992. He completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Almeda County Medical Center in Oakland, California, in 1997. He is currently an associate professor in the Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral Surgery, at the University of British Columbia. He maintains a private practice and is a certified specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Abbotsford.

Dr. Edmund Liem, DDS
Dr. Edmund Liem has been in general dentistry for 26 years. He graduated in January 1979 from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. He went into private general practice in the city of Nijmegen until 1994. He moved to Canada in 1994 and is in general practice in Chilliwack. Since then he has pursued his interest in orthodontics, TMD, and SDB. To learn and stay up-to-date, he has taken more than 1,000 hours of continuing education on the topics of orthodontics, oro-facial pain, and sleep-disordered breathing. Since 2001, Dr. Liem has lectured in Canada and the USA on the topics of digital photography and electro-diagnostics in relation to orthodontics, TMD, and SDB. Dr. Liem mentors two student clubs: an orthodontic/orthopedic study club named “OrthoDocs” and an occlusion study club named “Shimbashi 19”.

Dr. Bruce Kleeberger, BSc, DDS
Dr. Bruce Kleeberger graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Alberta in 1978 and has been in full-time practice for 29 years. He is an alumnus of the Millennium Institute in Calgary and of the Advanced Functional Aesthetic and Ultimate Occlusion programs at PAC~Live in San Francisco as well as a graduate of the Faculty of Orthodontic Research and Continuing Education. He is a Sustaining Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a charter member of the Canadian Academy of Computerized Dentistry and of the Canadian Academy for Esthetic Dentistry. He holds a certificate of proficiency in the diode laser from the American Academy of Laser Dentistry. Currently Dr. Kleeberger has a general dental practice in Langley, focusing on functional aesthetic dentistry. He is a member of the Key Opinion Leaders group of Dentsply Canada, member of the British Columbia Comprehensive Treatment Planning Seminars Study Club and FORCE Orthodontic Study Club. Dr. Kleeberger has lectured on dental materials selection, dental techniques and treatment planning, and conducted hands-on training for graduate dentists. He is mentor of the Pacific Esthetic Restorative Continuum and has published in national professional publications. He reviews for the Academy of General Dentistry publication General Dentistry.


Dr. Sujay A. Mehta, DMD
Dr. Mehta earned his doctorate of dental medicine from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed a hospital dentistry residency where he was chief resident at the UCLA/Veterans Affairs Medical Center’s Department of Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain. He has taught at the University of Southern California Oral Medicine Clinic and at the UCLA Medical Center. He currently directs the UBC Orofacial Pain clinic and teaches the postdoctoral residents. Current research interests are focused on the use of topical medications for musculoskeletal pain, the use of Botox for refractory musculoskeletal pains, burning mouth syndrome, and facial pains of unknown origin, as well as impact of motor vehicle accidents on headaches and facial pains. He maintains a private practice limited to oral medicine and orofacial pain in Vancouver.
