Bear and Cougar Safety Training
This course is intended to provide information to recreationalists or workers who spend considerable time in the outdoors. Bear and cougar safety training is a requirement of the Workers’ Compensation Board. You’ll learn steps to help prevent bear attacks and ways to recognize bear behaviour. There are many myths pertaining to the general behaviour of bears and why they attack. By the end of the session you’ll have a better understanding of bears and cougars and will be able to use this experience and knowledge in the outdoors.
