Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement Airbrakes Theory
Prepare for an airbrake endorsement. Classroom training includes a brake component demonstration board, audiovisual aids, and a practical session on a truck. This course is certified by the Motor Vehicle Branch. Airbrake manuals are available at first class.

Commercial Vehicle Inspection
Prerequisite: BC TQ in commercial transport, automotive, heavy duty, commercial trailer, or motorcycle repair.
A course for journeyperson mechanics wishing to become commercial motor vehicle inspectors. Successful completion of this program provides eligibility to write the inspection exam. Text: Vehicle Inspection Manual 2010 and the Motor Vehicle Act are required for the first session, available at the the UFV bookstore.
