Are you graduating this academic year?

If you are, then you need to complete the

“GRADUATION REQUEST FORM”



Get the form by printing it off the UFV website at www.ufv.ca/ar/ (under forms). There is a $25.00 fee for the graduation request.

In order for your transcripts to show graduation status the form must be submitted, whether you attend Convocation or not.

The deadline to apply for graduation is April 1st.    Any requests after this date may not be accepted and you may have to graduate the following year.   

Our graduation ceremony is once a year usually the 2nd week of June.   It is broken down into two days with 2 ceremonies each day.   The two days are Thursday and Friday.

It is not recommended that you take a course(s) from another institution in your final semester before you graduate.    It takes a lot of time to have the transcripts sent and the transfer done in time for graduation.  

It is recommended that students who will be completed their programs in April, to complete their Request to Graduate in January and submit it along with $25.00 cheque.    This way it is done at the beginning of the semester and you don't have to try to remember as the semester gets busy and deadlines have to be met.
