Leona Fountain


Leona Fountain has been very busy since she graduated from the BACYC. She has developed many programs to support parents and her passion is clear, to educate women about the effects of FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome).

Here are comments from one of our child and youth care student who had the opportunity to have Leona as a practicum supervisor:

Just a little note about your past student - Leona Fountain. She has made it into the 100 most influential people of Abbotsford. What an honour for her. I feel so privileged to learn from her. She is a true advocate in her field and a most wonderful practicum supervisor. Thank you so much for supporting this practicum placement for me as Leona is truly amazing. She is patient, kind and understanding. She is supporting not only my learning in the field but also my life learning as an individual.
