Department Assistant English, Linguistics, and Music
I have been a part of the support staff at UFV for 20+ years. My placements have included Registration, Student Financial Aid Services, Student Services, as well as my current position as departmental assistant for English, Linguistics, & Music. All of the positions I have held at UFV have afforded me the opportunity to work with some very talented, incredibly motivated, and caring people, for which I am truly grateful. I come in contact with large numbers of students as well as members of the local community. These people come from divergent cultural and economic backgrounds, and all have had something to teach me as well as the UFV community. Let us be human first, and an institution second. Outside of UFV my life is fulfilled by my husband of 37 years, 2 daughters, son-in-law, and 5 wonderfully exuberant grandchildren.
