IN-SERVICE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The In-service Professional Development Fund supports the professional development needs of UFV faculty and staff. UFV encourages all employees to engage in professional development related to current or future employment opportunities at UFV.
IN-SERVICE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COVERS:
For any combination of these categories mentioned above, an employee may be eligible for funds in the amounts specified below:
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES
May be approved for up to $1,500 per fiscal year (April 1 - March 31)
PART-TIME EMPLOYEES
May be approved for a prorated amount per fiscal year based upon the workload in the fiscal year in which the activity takes place.
SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION
Submit your In-service Professional Development application to the Employee Services department. Your application must be submitted and approved prior to attending an activity or making a PD purchase. Should you submit your PD application after the fact; your application will not be accepted.
APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED WITHIN FIVE (5) WORKING DAYS AFTER THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ALLOCATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE (PDARC) MEETING
