| ESL CLASSES TUITION FREE |
| Starting April 1, 2012, all ESL courses at UFV are tuition-free for eligible domestic students. This includes Canadian citizens, permanent residents, live-in caregivers and refugees. Mandatory fees such as semester based fees and ancillary fees will continue to be charged. International students will be charged the regular international tuition fees for all ESL courses. |
Domestic Students: Applications
UFV takes applications for new students at UFV's Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses. There is an application fee of $45 for all new students.

The Student Union Society (SUS) Health and Dental Plan fee is charged to students taking nine or more credits for the fall and winter semester only. If you are already covered by an equivalent plan you can opt out and be reimbursed the fee. Note: UFV's ESL courses are 3 or 6 credits each, depending on the course. Books must be purchased for each course. Your teachers will tell you which books and supplies you need on the first day of class. Books are available at the UFV bookstore.
Financial aid is available for qualified students.
Adult Basic Education Student Assistance Program (ABESAP)
International Students
International students (with student or visitor visas) can e-mail the International Department for information about applications and course fees, or visit its web site.
Scholarships for international students:
UFV does not currently offer financial assistance to international students. Please contact the Canadianthe Canadian Embassy in your home country to enquire about service organizations that may offer scholarships and financial assistance to international students.
