Placing diversity: A Qualitative Exploration of Formal and Informal Palliative Caregiving in the Home

Melissa Giesbrecht recently completed her PhD in geography at Simon Fraser University with the supervision of Dr. Valorie Crooks. Melissa’s research interests include qualitatively exploring palliative care and caregiving in Canada, particularly through applying critical, intersectional, and/or diversity-based frameworks. Her doctoral research was funded by a Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada - Canadian Graduate Scholarship.
