Last day today!

The 2013 UFV Visual Arts faculty exhibition, Work in Progress, highlights the development of artists over time.  Each participating faculty member is exhibiting an artwork from their undergraduate school days, as well as a more recent work.  Life-long preoccupations may be revealed, progressions in form or content, or perhaps we may see drastic divergences in the artists’ oeuvres.  With its installation within an art school, this exhibition proposes that artists, whether students or instructors, are always 'works in progress.'

Please join us for a Panel Discussion on March 7 from 2-4pm in the Painting and Drawing Studio (C1043).  Three faculty artists - Bradley Borthwick, Sarah Ciurysek, and Shelley Stefan - will each present brief overviews of their artistic careers, and then there will be a panel discussion on artists' development and education, which will be followed by a Q + A.  The panel will be moderated by Jill Bain, UFV Art History faculty member.  Refreshments will be available.

All events are free and open to everyone.  Come learn about your resident faculty artists!
