Dr. Lucy Lee, UFV Dean of Science

Welcome!

Welcome to UFV Science and into the world of personalized exploration and learning. Our courses are designed to enhance critical thinking abilities, integrating facts and observations with experimental knowledge and reasoning. We offer a new degree in Bachelor of Agricultural Science (beginning Winter 2017), a post-degree certificate in Data Analysis, an Engineering Physics diploma, various Bachelor of Science degrees, an Associate degree in Science, an Engineering Transfer program, and Science studies that cover a wide breadth of areas including Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics & Statistics. The choices are yours!

Our faculty are dedicated to teaching excellence and our small class sizes are conducive to life-long learning. The hands-on experiential approach has been valuable and the success of our alumni is the best testimony to our instructional ways.

Come explore UFV Science and move “Forward with Innovation & Discovery”.

Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair

Science Fairs are held each year in hundreds of elementary and secondary schools around the province. Projects can come in the form of a report, a demonstration or a model. All must follow specific criteria and all must display original scientific research.

Students in the Fraser Valley are given the opportunity to display their outstanding projects to the public through the Regional Science Fair held each year at UFV.

Science Fairs are held each Spring (March or April) at UFV's Abbotsford campus.

If you are interested in judging, contact Jason Thomas or Cory Beshara
