Faculty of Health Sciences

Health and wellness are fundamental priorities and shared responsibilities of nations around the world. In Canada and in British Columbia the health of families and communities is an area of precedence for us all. UFV seeks to educate future leaders in health care and to conduct research to help understand wellness such that it can be achieved, maintained and restored.

The Faculty of Health Sciences offers a wide range of important programs in health care and wellness providing students with innovative, academic and career oriented experiences and opportunities for learning. Programming extends across nursing, health care assistant and dental assistant to kinesiology and physical education. We collectively seek to make a healthy difference for the communities of the Fraser Valley and beyond.

Our strength is our people. Our degrees, diplomas and certificates are delivered by an exceptional group of faculty and staff members, in small classes and through community placement learning opportunities within the Fraser Valley.
