Continuing Studies (CS)

Offers certificate programs, part-time and full-time upgrading courses, business development courses, training programs, and contract-training services. The CS department offers a wide range of courses from agriculture to automotive, cooking to computers, and fine arts to first aid. Furthermore, CS programming is constantly growing, so check out its catalogue for new additions.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Learn basic English skills, improve their skills for personal and career reasons, or meet prerequisites for entry into post-secondary programs. The programs help students become more confident about their English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The ESL department also offers the English for Career and Professional Integration (ECPI) curriculum, developed to help foreign-trained professionals continue their career paths in Canada.

Upgrading and University Preparation (UUP)

Offers Adult Basic Education (ABE) courses in English, math, computers, education and career planning, and science. It helps adults upgrade their basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills for personal benefit or entry into the work force; complete high; prepare for the GED high school equivalency test; meet employment requirements; or complete prerequisite courses for post-secondary programs. our courses and programs help students of all backgrounds meet their personal, educational, and career goals.

Workplace TASK (Training in Attitudes, Skills and Knowledge for the Workplace)

This eight-month program offers students with disabilities the opportunity to gain self-management and employment skills and develop realistic career objectives in their chosen field while in the classroom. Students will participate in a series of employability workshops such as WHMIS, Food Safe, WorldHost etc. They will learn basic computer skills, including e-mail and internet.
