What is the difference between a Program and a Program Path?

PROGRAM

A structured set of courses that leads to a credential, such as a certificate, diploma, or degree.

{Arts Studies; Adult Education Studies; Business Studies; CIS Studies; Criminal Justice Studies; CYC Studies; General Studies; Kinesiology Studies; Library and Information Technology Studies; Nursing Studies; Science Studies; Social Services Studies}

PROGRAM PATH

An open admission category that allows a student to take courses toward an educational goal.  It is an option when entrance to a specific program is not available, or a student  has not yet met the program entrance requirements. The paths are intended to be temporary and students should pursue admission to a specific program as soon as possible.
