In the honour of former assistant Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, AJ Heemskerk


AMOUNT:  varies

AVAILABLE TO:  Criminology/Criminal Justice students who are presenting papers on criminal justice research at meeting of national or international professional associations or equivalent groups.

DEADLINE: May 10

CRITERIA:

  • Recipients must be enrolled in the UFV Justice degree program.
  • A CGPA of 3.0 or higher
  • The scholarly merit of submissions and CGPA will be the primary criteria for adjudication.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:  Nominations will be made by the Director of the Centre for Criminal Justice Research and two Criminology/Criminal Justice faculty members.
