LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR’S MEDAL
These medals are awarded to students in vocational or career programs less than two years long who have excelled in their studies and who have contributed to the life of their post-secondary institution or their community. These medals are awarded by the Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia.
DEADLINE: May 10. CRITERIA: As directed by the Offices of the Governor General and Lieutenant Governor, students must have both a high academic standing and have been active members in their programs and/or college community in general. SELECTION PROCEDURE: - Student candidates are recommended for the above award by written nomination by either a faculty member, a community member, or a fellow student
- A call for nominations will be initiated by the UFV Awards Selection committee.
- Nominations will be submitted to Financial Aid and Awards for the selection by UFV Awards Selection committee.
