NEILL MACGREGOR MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR RETURNING STUDENTS

Donated by friends and family of the late Neill MacGregor. Neill MacGregor was a popular teacher, school trustee, and tireless promoter of agriculture and agricultural education. He worked in leadership roles with youth groups such as 4-H and Future Farmers of Canada

AMOUNT: $775

AVAILABLE TO: A student entering their second year of Agricultural studies at UFV.

CRITERIA:

• The student must be admitted to full-time studies (minimum three courses) in the second year of an Agriculture program at UFV
• The student must demonstrate good academic standing.

• The completed application form should be submitted, and a letter describing the applicants’ interest in agriculture and outlining their career and personal goals in this field. As well, applicants should submit at least one letter of recommendation from a person qualified to support the application.

DEADLINE:  May 10

SELECTION PROCEDURE:  Recipients will be selected by the department.  Students do not need to apply.
