Geography 343 Field Trip

Historically, the Geography 343 field trip has generally involved a half day excursion with David Gibson through the old downtown east side of Vancouver.  These pictures from the Winter 2006 edition show the transitional character of an early 20th century working class neighbourhood historically infused with an East Asian ethnic presence but now undergoing postmodern gentrification.
