Studies show that geographers are consistently hired in a wider range of occupations in both the public and private sectors than any other natural or social science discipline. While by no means exhaustive, physical geographers are employed as climatologists, geomorphologists, geologists, ecological scientists, and environmental engineers, while human geographers work as cartographers, urban planners, teachers, transportation engineers, and overseas in non-governmental organizations. Whether for longer terms, after graduation, or shorter, on a seasonal basis, this page lists job opportunities of interest to students in geography. They are posted by date, the most recent at the top of the page. |
