| NEW PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS |
| The history program has undergone program revisions that will take effect in the 2009/2010 academic year. Students who have already declared their major, extended minor, or minor may choose whether they wish to meet the old requirements or the new requirements. Students who are still early in their program may wish to meet the new requirements which offers greater course choice flexibility. Students who declare in the 2009/2010 academic year will be expected to meet the new program requirements. |

| HISTORY MINOR REQUIREMENTS-BEGINNING 2009/2010 |
|
| Lower-level requirements: 9 credits |
|
- Nine 100- or 200 level history credits
|
| Upper-level requirements: 16 credits |
|
- Sixteen 300- or 400 level history credits
|
Note 1: No more than four credits may be in Directed Studies courses.
Note 2: Students may count EDUC 323 toward the history major, extended minor or minor requirements. |

| Nine credits in lower-level history. |
|
| Upper-level requirements: 16 credits |
