From November 14 to 18 2011, UFV students celebrated International Week at U-House: A taste of India on Monday, Travels to China on Wednesday, a multicultural dance evening on Thursday, and Traditions of Japan on Friday.

Pizza party for job well done
March was a busy fundraising month at UFV International. International students raise more than $10,000 for Japan and the Canadian Cancer Society and celebrated their accomplishment with a pizza party.

Student volunteer to sell daffodils
From March 23 to 25, 2011, 32 international students volunteered more than 160 hours to sell daffodils and raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.

Kazakhstan Nauryz spring celebration
On March, 2011, the Kazakh Club celebrated spring with an authentic Nauryz celebration. The evening featured music, traditional foods, and games. Kazakh students proved they were great hosts with a flair for hospitality.

On March 23, 2011, UFV International held a potluck at U House, featuring foods from over a dozen different countries, including India, China, Italy, Thailand, Mexico, Ukraine, Turkey, Brazil, Australia, Indonesia, Germany, and, of course, Canada.
