International projects and training
As part of the internationalization strategy at UFV, the International department is involved in identifying, coordinating, and facilitating a number of international projects at home and abroad. Check out existing international development project agreements at UFV.
Group and Contract Training
UFV International is committed to providing quality group and contract training for international clients, including recruitment, market research, and developing and delivering corporate training. UFV International works to identify training opportunities, project/program planning, curriculum development, program evaluation, and contract negotiation.

Offshore Projects
UFV International works with departments to develop offshore projects and helps to maintain and monitor them. Offshore Programs & Articulation Agreements can be organized in several ways:
providing all of the instruction on-site
providing some or all of the instruction online
articulating the partners course/programs
a combination of all three

Internationalization of the Curriculum
UFV International is dedicated to internationalizing the curriculum at the university. International curriculum development is an essential component for students receiving a truly global education. We continue to work with departments interested in internationalizing the curriculum, e.g. Critical Analysis and Study Methodology (CSM) 104 – Integrated Academic Learning Skills.
Special Events and Projects
In March, 2008, UFV was proud to host Stephen Lewis, former United Nations Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa as he spoke about the politics of foreign aid and the impact on children. Hosting renowned global figures is an important part of internationalizing the campus and the community in creating outreach to the public on important international issues.
UFV is also a dedicated partner in the Canada-Russia Northern Development Partnership Program (NORDEP).
