Whether you already have a career path in mind or are still exploring your options, the University of the Fraser Valley offers a selection of academic, career, and English as a Second Language programs to meet your needs.

UFV offers 80 certifiicate and diploma programs. Many of our programs "ladder" into one another, allowing you to keep your options open by earning a one-year certificate and/or a two-year diploma on the way to completing a full degree.

bachelors_thumb Bachelor's degree programs

UFV offers 15 bachelor's degrees in a variety of disciplines.  With small class sizes, hands-on learning, and dedicated teachers, UFV provides the quality learning experience you need to open the door to your dream career.

masters_programs_thumb  Master's degrees

UFV offers two master's degrees in the applied professional areas of criminal justice and social work. An openness to international perspectives and a stimulating mix of theory and practice make these advanced degrees an attractive option for professionals seeking to develop new skills and take their career to the next level.

esl_thumb  English as Second Language program

If you need to upgrade your English to pursue acadenic studies at an English-speaking university, UFV's English as a Second Language program options are designed just for you. The six-level course combines intensive language instruction with cultural orientation, community activities, and academic training to help you succeed at university.

foundation_thumb  Foundation program

If you have a good grasp of English but still need more language training, you may choose to combine language studies with universty courses. You can complete up to two academic courses in Foundation Level 1 and up to three in Level 2. When you graduate from the Foundation program you're ready to tackle full-time studies in your academic program of choice at UFV.

coop_thumb  Co-op program

Get academic credits and earn money: co-operative education combines full-time study  with full-time, paid employment in a career-related field. At the completion of the degree, students will have completed six semesters of work.
