How to apply
1. Complete the International Student Application for Admission (link) form. Please print neatly in block letters. Incomplete or illegible application forms will not be processed. Choose the program to which you are applying from the Programs (link) page. Please choose only one program.
Then mail the following :
- Completed Application form (print off our web site)
- A non-refundable $150 CDN application fee

Official transcripts from high school and college or university if attended. These must be in English and should be translated

One passport-size photograph

Test (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, LPI) scores (if available) if applying for direct entry into any program other than ESL UCFV TOEFL Registration #9736

A 100 to 200 word letter explaining why you wish to study at the University of the Fraser Valley
Send completed application form with application fee ($150.00 CND) to:

2. We will send you a preliminary Letter of Acceptance approximately two weeks after we have received your application. The preliminary Letter of Acceptance will outline the steps to follow to receive your Official Letter of Acceptance.
3. When you receive your Official Letter of Acceptance, take it with a valid passport and proof of sufficient funds for your stay in Canada to the nearest Canadian embassy or consulate in your country. (Locations found at CIC Canada - Visa Offices) A medical exam may be required. The embassy will issue your Student Authorization or give you a letter which you will need to present to the immigration officer when you arrive at a Canadian airport. The immigration officer will issue your Student Authorization.
