The student mail system is currently down. IT Services is actively working on the issue. A resolution is expected by the end of the afternoon at the latest. An update will be posted as soon as the service is restored.
Slow PLNet Internet performance - June 9, 2014 - 9AM

Update: June 12, 2014 4:00 pm - Although PLN has not yet indicated, our testing shows that internet performance is largely back to normal
All institutions on PLNet (Provincial Learning Network) including UFV are experiencing very slow internet performance at this time. Shared Services BC is working on the issue. There is no estimated time of resolution.
"Please be advised that PLNet clients are experiencing poor internet performance this morning. This is affecting PLNet clients throughout the province. Issue first reported just before 9am. Technical Support are investigating. Currently no ETR. Further updates will be provided as they are made available. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
Remote Outlook email issue - March 20, 2014 - 4PM

Some users are having trouble using Outlook email from home. IT Services is aware of the issue and working to resolve it.
Banner Self-service, WebFocus unavailable -Feb 16, 2014
Resolved Feb 16, 2014 11pm.
IT Services and the Oracle team are still working on restoring Banner services. Other services that may be affected are the BI Tool WebFocus, and FAST reporting.
Projected time of completion is 7AM on Monday, February 17.
