What is an employee computing account?
Access to any computer resources at UFV requires a computer account. The account is free and is based on your employee ID number and is confirmed through your Employee Services data.
Where to use an Employee Computing Account
UFV Computers and Email
The employee computing (Novell) account is used for both logging into a office computer and for your UFV email. Your Novell login allows access to UFV network resources while you working on campus or acces or via the internet from home. Your email account allows correspondence with other employees, students and other internet email addresses.
A&R Web Services
UFV employees require a computing account to use web services at http://www.ufv.ca/ar. Instructors can submit grades, see class schedules and lists etc. Employees can access their registration information if they have or are taking UFV courses.
Employees can read their email; access UFV records ; interact with students or other instructors; read current news, sports, and concert listings; access UFV Online and Library resouces; join discussion groups; access network files and receive campus and personal announcements through the myUFV portal.
